STAGE 3 VISIT CANBERRA

Students from Years 5 and 6 recently visited the national capital to extend the learning on Australian Democracy they are being taught in the classroom. 

During their 3 day visit they visited all the landmarks including Parliament House, Australian War Memorial, Telstra Tower, and the National Museum.  A wreath was laid at the Australian War Memorial where our students were fantastic and gave the Last Post ceremony the respect it deserved.  The children enjoyed the hands on experiences at Questacon and at the Australian Institute of Sport.  They thoroughly enjoyed the trip and were great ambassadors to our school.
