"Escape to Everywhere" was the theme for the 2017 Children's Book Council of Australia book week. This theme was certainly evident in our book parade on Friday 25 August. We had all sorts of characters from all sorts of places including Harry Potter from Hogwarts, The Mad Hatter from Wonderland, Superman from the planet of Krypton, just to name a few.
The creativity of our parents and students certainly shone in the costumes on our parade. The music for the parade also incorporated the Escape to Everywhere theme using themes from various old television shows including Petticoat Junction.
It was wonderful to see so many parents enjoying the celebration of Book Week.
